Who We Are
Pioneer Indians e.V. is a registered association (eingetragener Verein) based in Hanau, Germany, bringing together Indian families who have made the city their home. The association is primarily driven by families residing in Pioneer Park, a vibrant and growing neighbourhood that reflects the diversity and dynamism of modern Hanau.
The community represents people from various regions of India, each bringing unique languages, traditions, customs, and cultural heritage. This rich diversity creates an environment where members can celebrate their individual identities while fostering a shared sense of belonging as part of the broader Indian diaspora in Germany.

Holi - Festival of Colors
Ring in spring the Indian way! A riot of natural colours, Bollywood music, dance, and traditional thandai. Dress in white and prepare to get colourful!
Summer Fest
Our beloved annual summer gathering brings families together for a full day of fun, food, music, and outdoor activities in the beautiful green spaces of Hanau.
Cricket for Ladies & Kids
The gentleman's game — for everyone! Special coaching sessions and tournaments for ladies and children, nurturing the next generation of cricketers right here in Germany.
Indian Street Food Festival
A culinary journey through India! Chaat, samosas, dosas, biryanis, and more — cooked with love by our community and shared with all of Hanau. Guests always welcome.
Diwali — Festival of Lights
The jewel of our calendar. We celebrate Diwali with traditional diyas, fireworks, cultural performances, home-made sweets, and vibrant decorations that light up Pioneer Park every autumn.
